Maybe I Should Explain...

I went to my friend, Maddi's, house a few weeks ago and there was a pile of T shirts on her couch. There were also two thick books filled with things that you can make out of T shirts. I was interested then, but didn't think I'd ever make these things myself because I'm not in any way a crafty person. Well, the other day I wanted to wear a dress, but the only ones I have are too fancy for everyday wear. But I remembered Maddi and her T shirts so, like any other teenager would do, I went on Google. I found a website called 'hide your arms.com' and I made my first dress from an old over-sized T shirt. I got a little excited... I went back online and found various other recipes for new clothes from old T shirts. I got really excited... I'm not usually someone who obsesses over things, but I became a little obsessed. I became very obsessed. So now I will not buy clothes except T shirts and jeans (turns out just about the only thing you can't make out of  T shirts is denim...). Join me, if you like. I'm not an exceptionally crafty person, I'm just bored, I suppose. And the things that I make are totally simple and anyone could make them. This isn't my idea, there are tons of people making new of old, I just take it more seriously. So I made the dress, then the next day I made the blue scarf and I was totally hooked.
